Our story is not new… and yet, we are different.

Ok, so we’ve actually been operational for a while now and have just been extremely busy, but think of this as our (slightly overdue) official “launch”. #wearemav3rik

Why Mav3rik? This is almost always the first question we get asked when we introduce the company so thought we’d start with this.

As the term implies, it is about being different… but more importantly it is about making a difference. It is about carving our own path and not just following what every other partner has done before us. We like to think of ourselves as being in that “sweet spot” between a traditional Salesforce partner and a creative design agency.

A good friend of one our co-founders put it best when she described a Mav3rik as: “…those who are no longer content to sit back and merely accept the traditional way of doing things. Mavericks are committed to getting results — and aren’t afraid to bend the rules to make things happen. Those who are willing to take action, step out of their comfort zone and risk doing things a bit differently in pursuit of a goal are the ones who will make a difference.”

NOTE: If you ask one of us the same question over beer though, you might hear a funny (and cheesy) backstory behind the Mav3rik name.

Who are we? A client once told us in an initial meeting “oh, so you’re a bunch of architect dudes who got together and decided to form a team…”.

Yes and No.

Yes… The company was started by like-minded, highly-experienced and well-regarded architects (including a couple of CTAs so far) and geeks who used to work for Salesforce and a startup partner.

No… We are not just dudes, but actually have a couple of dudettes in the team and hoping that codelikeagirl and similar organizations continue to encourage more women to take on techie roles, including in Salesforce.

What do we hope to achieve? We’re big on raising the bar of the ecosystem overall and helping Salesforce achieve its aggressive growth targets. It’s our way of giving back to the #ohana that helped us get to where we are now. Capacity and capability are two of the biggest challenges the APAC partner ecosystem is facing today and we want to play our part in addressing them through enablement and delivery excellence.

We’re also big on building a strong culture for our team. We want to find the right people, establish the right fit and we want them to join us in this journey for the right reasons.

Finally, we’re big on customer success. The ultimate measure of our success as a team (and we know of Salesforce’s success too) is the success of our customers so our mission is to bring as many of these stories to life.
